I have Viewsonic TD2420 touchscreen monitor with Quanta touchscreen (0408:3008) and A10 with
Linux Cubian 3.4.67+.
I can't get touchscreen work.
If I type 'dmesg | grep usb' I'll get:
usb 4-1: new full-speed USB device number 2 using sw-ohci
usbcore: registered new interface driver ushc
isn't this ushc a usb host controller? I guess touchscreen should be registered as usbhid?

When I connect touchscreen, its creates /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usbhid/4-1:1.0 folder. In bInterfaceProtocol is 00. It should be 02 for a mouse, right?
In '/proc/bus/input/devices' there are no entries for 4-1:1.0.

What to check next?
lsusb command does not exists; do I have to install usbutils to get touchscreen work?

Did you have any progress? I have same problem with a 3M touchsreen.
