Hello everyone. I noticed that a lot of the source links for Linaro aren't there anymore and trying to do an apt-get update is all but impossible. I had a look at some of the sites and noticed that on ports.ubuntu.com the Quantal dist is gone.

The problem persists even with a reinstalled version (nand)

Any idea on what is going on? Should I give up on Linaro and  move do something else?

Thanks!

Hi, I am having the same problem. Could you find any mirrors for the quantal repository? Is there a way to manually upgrade to a later version?

Correction: I found one that is still working:
change the first line in the /etc/apt/sources.list to deb http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal main universe

arroja

Thank you, that did the trick  ;)

Cheers!

mihi

thanks..
I needed to change also the second line:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list
Quote#deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ quantal main universe
deb http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal main universe
#deb-src http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ quantal main universe
deb-src http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal main universe

I wanted to install:
Quotesudo apt-get install python-dev openssl python-openssl python-pyasn1 python-twisted

to have Kippo SSH Honeypot.

hi All,
Very happy to see that you have identified a huge problem for me; I've written out the directions and will give it whirl tonight. Thanks again!
