- Gnome (set as default, with remote desktop enabled without password.
You can disable it from applications - internet- desktop sharing);

- Lxde

- Xfce (when you logout from gnome and choose the DE you want, xfce is under the virtual keyboard, so you have to close it to see xfce in the menu...sorry  )

3 Browsers:

- firefox
- chromium
Both have youtube enabled, but it no works well (360p), and vimeo don't works

4 Video Players:

- smplayer: works with sd, hd, and full-hd movies (and audio files too)
For no 1080p movies (720p AVI files for example) use in terminal:

- smtube: to watch youtube videos with smplayer (now at 1080)
- mediatomb: media-server/dlna-server, to stream music, videos and images over your network (and the net, if you want). Should works with LG dlna tv too, but i haven't, so not tested

nand-version: blue led for cpu activity, green led for mmc

- cpu: overclocked at 1.17 ghz

Any idea on the ETA for the XBMC version? All my attempts on building a functional xbmc failed miserably. I mean,  could compile it, but the performance for the H264/X264, 720p+ was just plain HORRIBLE, even with mali, cedarx et all active...

There are beta Versions of XBMC v13 out for ARM / Android. Don't want to flash my NAND again with Android, but would be
interesting if it runs on the CB2 or CT:

Nice, but android is oh so diminished in capabilitis when we do compare it against linaro...

It is possible to connect a PS3 controller on the cast?
Thanks again for the work to cubietruck.

Passante

Hi guys,
is there a way to make this image writable by phoenixsuit/livesuite? It would make compatible even with mele (allwinners products wich are based on A20. A lot of more people could use it.
Is qbee-x based on the true unbuntu LTS? I see a lot of wrong advertised images which are 12.10 based (quantal) instead of 12.04

ikeeki

Never investigated phoenix suit... I think there is no need of it...
12.04 as far as Im concerned.

magno

Is not better to DD it from SD to NAND?
