Hi patwood! What do you think about this https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!msg/linux-sunxi/2zoxTcepPVo/Baznc8bL8mIJ

In short, it is hwmon driver for the built into SoC touch controller's temperature sensor. It can be used for SoC temperature monitoring...

Or we already had it?

Hi Patwood! :)

thanks for all your contributions & efforts so far! (I follow this forum since cb2 was early released...) :)

Please, consider to add/include the support modules for realtek usb wifi cards in your next kernel builds... since almost every image on this forum utilize your kernel builds, the lack of usb wifi drivers is causing several issues in cb2 users (while almost un-affect ct ones!)

Maybe, builds with wider usb wifi drivers support would help/allow a more easy "conversion" from ct images to cb2 ones!

Thanks & Cheers!

Hi Patwood!

Would it be possible to consider my I2S patch for your kernel?
I described my work in message http://www.cubieforums.com/index.php?topic=1081.msg12862#msg12862

I attached patch for pat-3.4.79 branch.

Hi!

I use LXC under debian for virtualisation on my CT. Works fine. The simplest way to enable networking  for the containers is bridging. But for this method in the kernel the Veth pair device must be enabled - can be found in the driver section/networking. I build a kernel for my own. But it would simplfy my life for the future to have this option available in every new build of your kernel!

Thanks for your great work!

Does the NIC of the Cubietruck now support real 1000MBit/s with the kernel offered here?? Or still maximum about 500 MBit/s possible?

Hello everyone,
I'm stuck trying to load bcmdhd

modprobe returns "Operation not permitted"...

dmesg returns
Code: [Select]
[dhd_module_init] get wl_host_wake gpio failed
I'm using the settings patwood posted above for script.fex:

Code: [Select]
gpio_used = 1
gpio_num = 2
gpio_pin_1 = port:PH20<1><default><default><1>
gpio_pin_2 = port:PH10<0><default><default><0>

[wifi_para]
wifi_used = 1
wifi_sdc_id = 3
wifi_usbc_id = 2
wifi_usbc_type = 1
wifi_mod_sel = 7
wifi_power = ""
ap6xxx_wl_regon = port:PH09<1><default><default><0>
ap6xxx_wl_host_wake = port:PH10<0><default><default><0>
ap6xxx_bt_regon = port:PH18<1><default><default><0>
ap6xxx_bt_wake = port:PH24<1><default><default><0>
ap6xxx_bt_host_wake = port:PH25<0><default><default><0>
ap6xxx_lpo = port:PI12<4><1><default><1>

Any ideas?

check gpio_para in the fex, remove PH10 from it

has anyone working on this problem? I got the same when I updated to 3.4.103, and figured out it may be caused by mistakes on power management of apx. but I am not usre of the chip settings. can anybody help?

I compiled the 3.4.75 kernel from source, and see the following in my dmesg...

Is this a known issue - I have searched but found nothing. My wifi seemed to work with the first linaro kernel I tried (iwlist scanned but I was never able to connect to any access point).

I use wired ethernet, so the problem is more academic to me, but I would prefer if my wifi worked.
