Android / How to hide the Android status bar / navigation buttons
« on: October 30, 2014, 04:20:22 am »
Also posted this question on another topic, but anyone know how to hide the Android status bar/buttons at the bottom of the screen? Ideally I'd like to make it a "pop-up" when you move your mouse cursor down. Any way to do this?

It is a bit annoying when I am watching a video, a movie or a picture slideshow.

I have the dual-card CB2. I downloaded the stock 2.0 Cubieez.

Neither my K400 or K520 Logitech keyboards work, however my wired keyboard and mouse all work fine.

I thought K400 and K520 were pretty standard ones and should be supported, am I missing something? How do I get them to work? Thanks.

Android / Change wallpaper / background

Silly question but what is the quickest way to change the wallpaper in the CB Android, say to a simple solid background? I find the Cubie background sometimes clash.

Does anyone know how to modify a NAND image to work with the non-NAND dual-card CB2? It seems to take a bit more than just flashing the image to an SD card.

Help a newbie.

I have a CB2 dual-sim (no NAND). I installed the dual-sim version of Android on a 32GB card.

In settings, I see TWO "Internal Storage":
 - one with only 1GB that is running out of space
 - one with total of 27GB that has plenty of space

How do I solve my storage issue?

Cubieboard v2 Android (A20 Based) / Resolution / Movie Player for Android

I have the Cubieboard 2 and the Android is set to 720p. I understand this is a limit to the software side, even though the hardware can do better. Is the Android version for Cubietruck (or the upcoming Cubieboard 8 ) going to support 1080?

Hi, a newbie. I just received my Cubieboard 2 dual-card (no NAND)

- Edimax EW-7811UN (very popular with Pi community and works flawless on that)
- Android 1.0.8 image direct from the website on a MicroSD card

I thought the RTL8188CUS chipset was supported but when I try to enable Wifi, nothing happens. Anyone else had this problem? Not even sure where I debug this.
