Software & Applications / Mplayer fullscreen smooth

Can't get smooth mplayer video? Then try it from ssh!

On CT-Debian (lightdm/lxde at login screen) at least test on vga 1024*768 and HDMI 1680*1080, mplayer plays smooth full screen/fast backwards/forwards preview (eg. buck bunny demo video) via ssh only (not direct desktop) without any flags or extra updates. Some videos (wider than screenbuffer, higher bitrates, or depending on avi/mkv/mp4) may jitter or crash ssh and desktop. Although the ssh arrows are used remotely, [q]uitting from there may crash the desktop but quitting/escaping mplayer on the local keyboard restores ssh and desktop.
