Problem V 2.8:

root@cubie:~# /root/nand-install.sh
-bash: /root/nand-install.sh: Permission denied

root@cubie:~# cd /root/
root@cubie:~# dir
nand1-cubietruck-debian-boot.tgz  oscam-trunk  sata-install.sh
nand-install.sh                   readme.txt

It's not a problem it's a tiny safety feature :) Scripts are (in the install process) erasing your install destination (NAND / SATA drive) so you need to know what you are doing ...  if you do you will probably recognize that scripts are not set as executable:

chmod +x nand-insttall.sh

and you are set to go.

Maybe someday the scripts will be rewritten or become a part of some configuration script.

Thanks, its working now.

hi slovenia:
Where can I find your install script mentioned above?
Would I find useful info on installing an image to NAND on my CB1?
My CB1 does not boot from NAND nor from microSD card any more.
Thank you for any tip and/or help

/root/nand-install.sh

apt-get -y install libusb-1.0-0-dev

I finally found a solution for the problem with compiling oscam. You have to add these lines to /usr/include/linux/sysinfo.h (just the four lines from #ifndef __kernel_long_t to #endif):

#ifndef _LINUX_SYSINFO_H
#define _LINUX_SYSINFO_H

#ifndef __kernel_long_t
typedef long            __kernel_long_t;
typedef unsigned long   __kernel_ulong_t;
#endif

#include <linux/types.h>

#define SI_LOAD_SHIFT   16
struct sysinfo {

It works with new versions!  :D
Thank you!

tar xvfp sunxi_kernel_x.x.xx_mod_head_fw.tar

V 2.0, Kernel 3.4.91, OSCAM building is OK.
sysinfo.h:

#ifndef _LINUX_SYSINFO_H
#define _LINUX_SYSINFO_H

#include <linux/types.h>

#define SI_LOAD_SHIFT 16
struct sysinfo {
__kernel_long_t uptime; /* Seconds since boot */
__kernel_ulong_t loads[3]; /* 1, 5, and 15 minute load averages */
__kernel_ulong_t totalram; /* Total usable main memory size */
__kernel_ulong_t freeram; /* Available memory size */
__kernel_ulong_t sharedram; /* Amount of shared memory */
__kernel_ulong_t bufferram; /* Memory used by buffers */
__kernel_ulong_t totalswap; /* Total swap space size */
__kernel_ulong_t freeswap; /* swap space still available */
__u16 procs;     /* Number of current processes */
__u16 pad;     /* Explicit padding for m68k */
__kernel_ulong_t totalhigh; /* Total high memory size */
__kernel_ulong_t freehigh; /* Available high memory size */
__u32 mem_unit; /* Memory unit size in bytes */
char _f[20-2*sizeof(__kernel_ulong_t)-sizeof(__u32)]; /* Padding: libc5 uses this.. */
};

#endif /* _LINUX_SYSINFO_H */

"Actually the problem is in Wheezy compiler"
OSCAM......
USE  compiler earlier than *.*90 for newest KERNEL!!?

I tried to compile OSCam on my CT. I successfully did this on older versions of slovenias Image. I can post the output when I am back home.

*.90 OK. With newest KERNELS no more. ERRORS (Kernel Headers maybe broken).

Since there is a "daughter board" to it, or should I buy a controller EXTRA me immediately ... SHIT!

SATA

Since 300 Euros come together! Or should I convert an octa-core mobile phone to the server?

RAID...

tar xvfzp CTDebian_X.X_kernel_mod_head_fw.tgz
reboot

Thats all.

V2.1 with Kernel 3.4.93 ---> kernel headers are broken!
