Title: Real time kernel Xenomai
Post by: BluPix on June 21, 2014, 05:27:11 am
Anybody here tryed to build kernel with xenomai patches? I tryed to apply this patch, but after:
xenomai-head/scripts/prepare-kernel.sh --arch=arm --linux=linux-sunxi/ --adeos=xenomai-head/ksrc/arch/arm/patches/ipipe-core-3.4.6-arm-4.patch
it ends with 15 failed, i also tryed patches for A10-A13 for olimex, but it ends with 12 failed and patch is not applied.

Anybody here had better luck? This device looks ideal for LinuxCNC, but it needs Xenomai patches.

Why not try the rt patch for linux?

It looks like Xenomai is much better (for CNC):

I have started to make small changes in this patch, but in first file is SMP ifdef and changes are only on singlecore, it looks like i will wait until somebody port Xenomai to dualcore. If i turn off SMP, it makes from cubieboard RPi, so using RPi will be better.
