Can you create a minimal installation with WIFI support for Fedora 19 again? Or create a small "how to" how i can create it myself? Fedora 19 is the base for the next RHEL 7. So i am very interrest in Cubie Truck and Board 2 support for a small server Fedora version.

I'm trying Fedora 19 and at the moment I have BCMDHD working. In the next days I'll create an .img file "ready to flash" with Win32diskImager (the tool that I'm using for repeated daily restore on  my MicroSD)

Thanks for sharing! I will try it. Is it minimal style?

This is a problem.
At the moment I'm not very expert in building distros, and I've only added Wifi and Gigabit Eth working on Fedora.
I think that there are lot of people more expert than me.
Now I'm trying Cubieez and Cubian with different kernels and I think that Fedora is slow compared with theese distros.

Two things slow Fedora builds:
  • Slow swap
  • Lack of 2D hardware acceleration
I've fixed them in my A10 F19 build, and I can confirm Fedora is now as fast as Cubieez.
My A20 Rests In Pieces :'( , so I cannot help with A20 version.

I think that Fedora has a lot of useless and not working applications installed.
When I've free time to try it I'll clean the system. Now I'm working on Cubiuntu and it is very fast and usable.

Yesterday I also worked with the r3 on my cb2. After using one hint from the forum I put
Code: [Select]
swapoff -aat the beginning of the /etc/rc.d/rc.local, which made things a little bit faster.

It's quite a good idea from the fedora folks just to have one image for lots of boards and to add a script for special needs. And they directly provide xfce, which is also usable with cb2 and CT despite the higher needs.

grtz, martux
