Which MicroSD card?

(oldforum) Post by kingneutron » Sat Jan 19, 2013 11:39 pm
--I've found what looks to be a decently fast model on Amazon, but will the Cubieboard use a spec higher than plain MicroSD?

--What kind of cards are you guys putting in the Cubieboard / what is known to work? Ideally I'd like a 4GB class 6 or better, as long as it's fairly cheap and compatible...

Im gonna use this card :
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Mobile-microSDHC-Adapter-SDSDQY-016G-A11A/dp/B005FQLN0U

Its fast (30mb/s) , cheap, 16GB(wow!), reliable and they actually sell it as optional for cubieboard at miniand.com .

Hard to go wrong with SanDisk.  If you're near a Costco, you can pick up a 32 GB card from them for ~$22.

Thanks for that; I ended up picking up a 16-gig Class 10 Sandisk Ultra from Walmart for ~$20.  That's plenty for the boot disk, the rest will be on SSD.  ;D
