Hi, I think about buy this display:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-inch-1280x800-N070ICG-LD1-IPS-LCD-with-HDMI-VGA-2AV-Audio-driver-Control-board-/300989996860?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item461466df3c

Is possible add resistive touchscreen and get it working in android? Is possible to connect it to cubietruck directly to CN9 connectors or there is module to convert signal??

resistive touchscreen is needed because use with gloves, capacitive will not work because gloves are not conductive.. here is answer "NO with android": https://www.olimex.com/forum/index.php?topic=1622.0

If resistive is not possible add, is installation of capacitive ts easy? is here any guide?

Thank you very much for advice.

Thanks to your post, I just bought this one for $10 more than the one you have linked, last night. It works very well. The Keyboard is super cool, and my 7 year old LOVES having a keyboard that fits his hands. It's a little small for the grown ups, but still worth it. This one comes with a little IR mouse, a USB hub, a wireless dongle that's not needed for the cubietruck, and also a raspberri pi case (also not for us cubie users - maybe one day I'll get a RPi). Also comes with an 18" HDMI cable, etc. The only thing that it does NOT have is the power supply.

    1 X HDMI+VGA+2AV Controller Board VS-TY2662-V1 (Support Automatically switch to AV2)
    1 X 7inch 800×480 AT070TN92
1 X Keyboard with Wire of the LCD Driver
1 X 7" TABLET CASE with Micro USB Keyboard
    1 X Mouse
    1 X USB 2.0 4 Port HUB
    1 X USB Wifi Adapter
    1 X 50Pin to 50Pin ZIF 0.5mm extend connector adapter
    1 X FFC Flate Cable
1 X  Raspberry Pi Clear case

HOWEVER, looking back I would have gotten the one with the touch screen and higher resolution... the one I got is "good", but I want "fantastic!"

That would fit in the same case with the keyboard that I got above.

Last night I was looking around at what a grave mistake I'd made not getting a touch screen (I must keep my son more interested in this than his stupid Ipad my ex got him that he stares at blankly).

I found this one that's much higher resolution: 1200 x 800, and is 7" touch. So anyway, this one looks like the best screen, but it's $70 more - and without the full kit and keyboard. (edit: see below)

1× HDMI+VGA+2AV Controller Board VS-TY2662-V1 (Support Automatically switch to AV2 )
1× 7inch 1280* 800 IPS Lcd Panel N070ICG-LD1 with  4-wire resistive touch panel VS070TP-A8
1× LVDS Cable
1× Keyboard with Wire
1x USB touch panel controller card
1x USB cable
1x CD Driver for touch control card (Can work with Linux Windows CE XP and Win7)

- I'll dedicate the first one to one of my DSLR cameras for shooting and filming... how great these monitors and little boards are for multiple use!

This one shows the 7" 800x480 screen with the 7" touch panel display "kit" with the keyboard and all.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Raspberry-Pi-Display-kit-7-inch-touch-LCD-HDMI-board-keyboard-wifi-USB-HUB-4-/151156200757?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item23319c9535

That's the "kit" I probably should have gotten first, unless you want the higher resolution 7" touch screen I've listed above.

I purchased the same combo (no case, just bare hardware and cables) for $59 from aliexpress.com.  works very nicely with Ubuntu.  No idea how well the tp works with android.

Did your kit include the touch screen for that price, or just the video board and 7" 800x480 screen?

Hi,

I'm interested in buying a "decent" touchscreen monitor that does not require too much workaroudn to be usd with cubiescreen.
Is is avaiable "out of the box" when connected to a cb1/2 with cubieez/linaro, or there is the need to recompile/try several times? Just because in this period I'm a bit busy and I'm not sure how much time I could dedicate to solving all the "little problems" :)
