Bittorrent sync have an ARM version, however it not works for me, i get btsync: 1: btsync: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")") error.

Do anyone tried this?

Edit: According to the support, the A20 cpu is not supported by this application... then why do they advertise it as ARM compatible, if it's compatible only with few ARM cpu-s.

BTSync up and running on Debian 7.1 Image on A20 with http://btsync.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/btsync_arm.tar.gz

How? I've tried it on cubieez too, and same error message...

If i run it with sudo, then nothing happens. No web interface, no reaction to --help parameter, or --dump-sample-config

Edit: you must have a own version of btsync, as the ARM version can be downloaded is for ARM v5 architecture with soft float, but A20 is ARM v6 with hard float, and no compatibility between them.

thats the way i setup btsync, sorry it's in german only, but i guess you can read the important steps.
there is no magic, no special builds or whatever.

WOW thanks! The only modification needed was: ln -s /lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/ld-linux.so.3 /lib/ld-linux.so.3

And it works.
