I'd be interested to put my cubietruck in a case, hoever, I'm not sure the ewell case here:

could handle a 15mm / 1.5 cm high HDD (like most > 1.5 TB 2.5 hdd are - for example Toshiba MQ01ABB200). I had a problem with the basic system where putting th hdd behing the board was causing too much heat, and I had to put it on top of it to keep a good air flow. Would there be the same problem with that case?

Did anyone here tried to put a 1.5cm 2.5 HDD in that box?
If that couldn't work, is there any other case you'd recommend?

Thank you very much!

Oh no, I don't recommend Ewell case at all... :/
I went through lots of trouble trying to put Cubietruck inside this case, then CT stopped working...
You can see what I am talking about if you search my posts...
Another issue it has is temperature problem.
Perhaps this is better, I think it was designed to fix Ewell case flaws:

Ok, thanks for your answer :)

The second case seems really better but it's way more expensive... But heat can be an issue with cubietruck, even more with a 15mm HDD if there is not enough room for cooling so I will probably keep it as it is and forget about the case until I can find or build a great one.

If you have any skills/access to 3D printing, do a google search and you will find some designs to start with.

Go from there and see if you can make something that the rest of us can use!
