I have a number of posts here on Centos for Cubies.

First if you want Centos6, you will have to go with Redsleeve6.  You will find my instructions on this at:

http://medon.htt-consult.com/~rgm/redsleeve/

There is Redsleeve 7 available, but why when you can do Centos7-arm?  Start at:

http://mirror.centos.org/altarch/7/isos/armhfp/

for a Centos7-arm for the Cubietruck.  but this is the wrong uboot.  But build your SD card with this image then you can get the right uboot from:

http://medon.htt-consult.com/~rgm/cubieboard/u-boot-sunxi-with-spl.bin

Then dd that to your SD card with:

dd if=u-boot-sunxi-with-spl.bin of=/dev/sdb bs=1024 seek=8; sync

Once installed you can run 'dnf update' to get current.

I am behind a bit as I am doing real work.

BTW, Medon is running Centos7-arm on a cubieboard2.
