Any hints about the Cubietruck Plus other than the one picture and post from back in July?

Like when it might hit the supply chain?
Detailed specs?
Cost?

can anyone who has experience with shopping from Chinese web-vendors check the China websites whether there is a prototype for sale?
The board looks nice and I might buy one

no, nothing, nada. I checked out all the links. I would expect that the cubieboard people a least have a road map
or a delay message on one of their websites. I really like their products but marketing seems not familiar to them.

i ordered one from that link about 5 days ago.  i have the tracking number as of yesterday.  i'm in north america & have never ordered from that vendor or site so i don't know when i'll get it.  usually packages from mainland china to here take around three weeks.
i also saw them for sale at this website today.

i'll make a note here when it arrives.

Will probably take some time until a uboot for it that I can use with Fedora.  :(

and it is priced around the same as the Wandboard quad.

Though I would like to see a performance comparison between the two quad boards.

AH,

But I am going to have to wait until these are rolled into Fedora.  Probably will happen about the time I have money to buy this card!

my cubie truck plus arrived today. 25days total from date of order (12/31/2015) from the site noted above.
came with all accessories shown.  took some pictures & uploaded them but probably won't get a chance to play with it today.  i have compiled the linux & android from above sources & it completes on both.  there are some typos in the instructions so don't copy & paste them.

Hi, _stephan_

If you can give more info on the functioning of the board, I appreciate it.

Is very poor. http://www.jarzebski.pl/blog/2016/02/14/testujemy-cubieboard-5-aka-cubietruck-plus.html

With plexi case, temperatures drops SoC frequency to 1.2GHz and shut-down 4 cores.

Without plexi case is quite better, but never reached 1.6GHz.

So... need active cooling, but still maximum frequency is 1.8GHz

SATA is bridge to USB2.0... low transfers.

Hi, I have my Cubietruck plus from China. With the linaro-desktop-cubietruck-plus-emmc-dp-v1.1.img this board works very well. but a " uname -i " gives me "armv7l", I think this should be armv8l, ???
Ist here any work with CentOS or Fedora with this board? I would like to help to develop a CentOS/Fedora Image for this board. Any Hints ?
