hi,
I have a cubieboard "Dual Card" (call it DC).
In place of 4GB NAND, this model of Cubieboard2 has a second uSD slot (useful to use larger uSD than 4GB) So, call the "standard" uSD slot the "1st slot" and the nand's replacement "2nd slot".

My needs is to make 2nd slot the pripritary boot unit and the 1st slot the secondary boot unit.

In other words, i need both the follow options:

OPTION A
leave a bootable uSD with OS permanently inside 1st slot. The cubie is unpowered. Power the board: the OS in 1st slot boot, if during use I insert another uSD into the second slot, it must be recognized (for backup, data retention, etc)

OPTION B
leave a bootable uSD with OS permanently inside 1st slot. The cubie is unpowered. insert another uSD (with a bootable OS) into the second slot. Power the board: in this case, is the second uSD that must boot, not the internal OS in 1st uSD slot. OS on 2nd slot must recognize and use uSD in 1st slot (for backup, data retention, etc)

Someone already faced this problem? do you know how to solve?

Not sure if it is possible, according to instructions SD only card2 slot if for booting:
