GIC locked to Secure State?
« on: May 17, 2015, 05:38:53 pm »
Hi,

I'm playing around on the OS level and find myself unable to properly switch from the Secure to the Non-Secure world: the processor switches correctly (reading CPSR reports HYP, and trying to access SCR results in an abort), but accessing the GIC still yields the Secure register bank (GICD_IGROUPn is accessible, and Group1 interrupts arrive through GICC_AIAR instead of GICC_IAR).

Is there some magic setting I have to turn off in order to make the GIC aware of the processor's security state? On the Cubie2 this worked like a charm...

Thanks in advance!
