I update my last post with my latest tests.

For now my choice is the GV-17 Mini PC 20130123 rom.
I have it working with:
XBMC;
Mx player with hw acceleration;
Samba server;
Bittorrent;
Ir remote control remapped;
CVBS;
VGA;
Hardware 7 front buttons;
Sata 1 TB hard disk;

To do: State leds, define pal as default tv system, get usb port 2 working, design and build the baseboard pcb for the whole system, put it inside a case.

Sounds great, do you plan to upload it with changes applied (not the case, of course  ;D ;D ;D), and ready for phoenix card???
Thanks for your work ¡¡¡¡ :D

PD I can't help feeling jealous of raspberry users when they show how the play heavy files with xmbc. :-\

I am also trying this ROM: GV-17 Mini PC 20130123

But still even if I change script.bin, the second USB does not work. What shell I do to get it working?

I followed the guide. Still no luck.
It is strange that the guide worked with A10_recovery (I tried it). Not with GV-17 Mini PC 20130123.

So I need to know if the guide must work with GV-17 Mini PC 20130123  as well. Did anyone get second USB working after changing script.bin file?

yes with GV-17 Mini PC the second usb does not work even with the modified script.bin.
well it works but not have the power turned on. In this rom the usb2 is configured for a usb wlan device, so it turns the power off when there are not connected a wlan device.
Im working on it and I think I can get enable both usb ports
