Announcing Redsleeve for the Cubieboard
« on: August 21, 2014, 08:50:44 pm »
Redsleeve is a Centos 6 spin for arm.

I have placed all of my tarballs and images for Redsleeve at:

http://cdn.opensxce.org/redsleeve/el6/cubieboard2/

The README takes you through the steps to build your own Redsleeve for Cubieboard.

Or read the README carefully and skip most of the details, grab one of the compressed images and go!

ENJOY.

Comments are welcomed to improve the readme.

Problems with any of the files will be addressed as I can.

Anyone that can get SELinux working; their efforts are greatly appreciated.

See the link at the beginning of this post!  But here it is again:

http://cdn.opensxce.org/redsleeve/el6/cubieboard2/

The boards have been up running now for 26 days.  Make sure to do a 'yum update bash' after install.

I SHOULD update the README with some lessons learned.  Like what it takes to set up a Web server or a DNS server.  Mail and Samba servers are next.

You can find all the files at:

http://medon.htt-consult.com/~rgm/redsleeve/

I have not corrected the URLs in the  rsel-cookbook.txt to match this server, but I believe the reader can do that....
