Hi! I've just got a Cubieboard 2 and it comes with Android 4.2.2
I have to make an Android app that uses some signals connected to the GPIO as inputs.. How can I access GPIO? I've read that I can't make a code to control them from Windows, I've read so many things that I am really confused by now.

Thank you!

Yeap, same here... unfortunately this site doesn't work anymore  ???

Got to the same page yesterday and thought my problem was solved...then my heart broke... :(

Unfortunately link for download is broken.

I get : "Unfortunately this file is no longer available, the service has been discontinued. For details, see: http://blog.canonical.com/2014/04/02/shutting-down-ubuntu-one-file";

Any updates to this? are the files hosted elsewhere?

I purchased a program to write programs for the android, it works well on the cubieboard.

The problem is now it's been 7 months and I still can't get the GPIO working under android
on the cubieboard.

I think this should be answered by someone from support, as I really need a straight answer on this.
I would really like to use this and future boards from you guys, but If the gpio does not work under android, then it's a bust!

I have seen other boards that are the same as this with a different name, that the gpio works under android...

Either give me an image for the A20 that the gpio works under android, or give up making boards that ship with android.

I's been like 7 months now, enough is enough.

PS. Providing the information to build a kernel that supports gpio under android would be a great start too... And since you guys developed this board, well nuff said.

But GPIO is actually working great on Cubieboard2 Android. Kernel provide nice gpio interface which you can use by your Android app. Try this: go to adb shell, and try change your pin options (/sys/class/gpio/gpio*).
