I've been having varying degrees of luck on CB1.  But I still don't completely know my way around linux and the workings in general.  The setup I have been trying to get going lately is advancemame on console on an Archlinux build with 3.4.67 kernel but having some framebuffer trouble. so far have only tried with the package as opposed to compiling.

Last thing I had going before that was cubieez RC2 stock image with advancemame compiled and wahcade downloaded.  Worked but was skipping video and audio but never really dug into why.  still have that sdcard for when archlinux frustrates me again. lol

PS still waiting on your expertise lawrence. :)

Just remind you guys that cubiuntu a10 0.8 and 0.9 have framebuffer enabled as I've read here that that is vital for compiling something playable on cubie  :-\
Thanks for your efforts

I have a mame4all working on cubietruck. Might work on CB2 as well but I have not tested it (Would welcome any support in getting it going on CB2 as well!).

This one runs on linaro but dont see why it wouldn't compile against any distro.
