Is there anyway to have the system temp _logged_ so I can push the CT as hard as possible and after failure I can see what the temp readings were?

Hi,

of course, there are several ways. One way could be to use my temperature logging script. Find it here:

Maybe you need to make some modifications, depending on the kernel version or the sensor you want to read. But that shouldn't be a big deal.

Greetings!
Don't think that anyone will take more pains for his answer, as you took for your question.

Do I have to high temperature?

# cat /sys/devices/platform/sunxi-i2c.0/i2c-0/0-0034/temp1_input
58400

# hddtemp /dev/sda
/dev/sda: WDC WD10JFCX-68N6GN0: 49°C

It is placed in default black plastic case with HDD (WDC WD10JFCX-68N6GN0). It already worked 1-2 weeks with that temperature. Should I add fan to it?
