Mouse Equivalent Of Long Press?

I can't seem to find the mouse function to simulate a long click.

e.g. Got the Applications screen up and want to uninstall an app.

If I had a touch screen, I would press and hold for a second or so ("Long Press") and, when I removed my finger from the screen, a dialog would pop letting me Edit, Remove, show App Info, or Uninstall.

But using only a mouse:
  • Long-Left-Click just opens the app when the mouse button is released.
  • Right-Cick exits the screen and returns to Home.
  • Ditto Long-Right-Click once the button is released

This is starting to look more like an Android issue than a Cubie issue.   I've read a half-dozen threads so far (albeit all a few years old) to the effect that there is simply no mouse equivalent to the Android LongTouch.

I have found a couple of workarounds:
  • Install Nova Desktop, which *does* recognize LongLeftClick
    .
  • Us ES File Explorer which also recognizes (albeit somewhat clumsely compared to MX File Exporer) LongLeftClicks
