i have made a rootfs with the newest linaro alips (quantal 27.02.2013). Build in the mali driver and 720p resolution.

(MD5: 4ea50201a3c9dfcc9374d1c487649022)

You can build your system with this rootfs using the sunxi-media-create.sh script.

I downloaded the image, just trying it out on my day off. But i'm having issues with ethernet.

When I connect the cable, no connection is detected. In the network manager eth0 isn't even visible. Is this a common issue? I can't seem to get it to work.

I found the problem. The eth0 is configured for a static IP. Because my network has a different range the DHCP can assign I couldn't get any connection. I changed it to a dynamic IP and it works out of the box.

This is my interfaces configuration (/etc/network/interfaces)
Code: [Select]
# interfaces(5) file used by ifup(8) and ifdown(8)
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

#The primary network interface
allow-hotplug eth0

#DHCP enabling
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

....you are totaly right.
i forgott to say it in post 1.

because of the changing MAC we decided to use static ips.
