Cubie Board A10 with embedded GSM and GPRS module
« on: March 09, 2014, 08:58:42 am »
I am running a project on cubieboard A10 and it is fine enough. But current project require a same configuration with embedded GPRS(with sim card holder) and GSM module. If I implement it with USB 3G dongle and GPS device the cost is not acceptable. I want a embedded solution which can save cost.
Can any one tell me cost effective way to implement GPRS and GPS in cubieboard ?

Please help me to find a way out.

Thank you

Hi

I'have been able to send and receive data using a sim800l Module

using a serial port on a cubieboard and AT Commands, but is not fully functional as an usb gprs modem.

hope you find this helpfull, or if you have already found a better way, please tell me.
