I guess I must be an idiot :o! I can't seem to connect to my wifi with my ct. Wifi Radar sees my net work but can't get an ip address. I'm using dhcp and wpa2 personal, any hints? ???

You are not an idiot, just its static ip´s. :)

Possible to install modules 3.4.61 in Cubieez ?

http://docs.cubieboard.org/tutorials/dvk521/documentations/a20/driver_porting_and_configuration

You must edit your network interface.
1. log in as root.
2. open /etc/network/interfaces
3. delete static configuration
4. paste this one:

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wpa-ssid mynetworkname
wpa-psk mywpa/wpa2key

5. save it and reboot
6. log in as cubie or defaut, than it should work

Go to a terminal and execute "cubie-config". Change your keyboard and locales.

Did this version have a static MAC address?

Static MAC can be changed with uEnv.txt (mac_addr=XX.XX.XX.XX.XX.XX)

The only device I am able to select is "sunxi-CODEC", any other ideas?

ahrovan

Problem with keyboard characters :: with cubie-config  can not solve that, especial characters in "english us" have problems.

1.run PulseAudio Volume Control
2.select output devices
3.scroll down, than you can see sunxi-shdhdmi analog stereo
4.set as fallback (green button must be clicked)
5.close the window

Don't worry about that because xvmc can't play videos at fullscreen resolution. I'm going to release XBMC binaries for A10, A20 and CT working smooth and without major problems this weekend  8)

If you don't want to wait for XBMC try this and let me know:

sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-sunximali
sudo usermod -a -G video cubie

Set Gnome Mplayer to use xv at Preferences.
