Why does the the version Debian_3.2_Wheezy_3.4-105 work "out of the box" and why do the newer versions not?

It was identified as a bug only few days ago ... Don't know yet and looking for a fix / solution.

There is more support for DVBs in kernel 4.x ... check this thread.

If your hardware is not supported you can try to build your own module. Usually you can get sources from vendor.

Image is prepared for simple compilation.

Hi ,

thx with the 4.0 kernel the modules is integrated but I get an error when driver loaded:

[  195.886473] i2c i2c-3: adapter [Technisat SkyStar USB HD (DVB-S/S2)] unregistered
[  195.887007] i2c-dev: adapter [Technisat SkyStar USB HD (DVB-S/S2)] unregistered
[  195.887179] dvb-usb: Technisat SkyStar USB HD (DVB-S/S2) error while loading driver (-12)

-12 means out of memory. Some people wrote that I can increase coherent pool but how can I change this on armbian

Hi: I installed the latest ARMbian Debian wheezy legacy on my cubietruck. Because a HDMI monitor was hooked up my audio is now going through the HDMI cable. I would like to change the audio to the analog output but keep the hdmi video.

What do I have to do? Please help.

I was looking for a /boot/uEnv.txt but could not find it.

In the meantime I discovered that the sound is only missing in iceweasel playing certain videos in Youtube.
Some work playing sound and video some only play video. I suspect that this has something to do with flash anf html5. Youtube in icewasel plays through the first sound device it finds and may be I need to change something here - but I do not know where to look and start?

Please help- Thank you.

Update kernel to latest or rebuild it if you use self builded. There was one debug too much.

It's possible.
http://apt.armbian.com/pool/main/l/linux-upstream/

Download latest sun7i packages 4.51 ... 4.6 coming today (3.4.110)

Unpack .deb and copy to place manually if you don't use Debian based distro.

I installed linux-image-sun7i_4.6 armhf my cubietruck, but there's no wi-fi drivers.  I had to go back to 3.4.108_cubietruck.
