Hello Cubietruck fans!  :)
I've bought a Cubietruck few weeks ago and now I'm ready to release an image of Cubiuntu 0.6.5 (thanks to patwood for source image) with 3.4.61+ kernel.

In my opinion this distro is the best that I've tried, and in this release (I'll release another more functionally soon  :P).

Features:

- 2GB RAM (recognized changing uBoot);
- 1 GHz CPU (performance governor, by patwood image);
- OTG Usb port works (as hosts);
- WiFi onboard works (ap6210);
- Gigabit Ethernet works (gmac);
- Network management with network manager (you don't need to use terminal to connect!);
- Italian keyboard layout (search on web for change it);

Known issues:

- Bluetooth (Onboard doesn't work, USB Dongle are recognized but do not work properly);
- CedarX not tested yet;
- Youtube videos are not smooth;

In boot partition there are 2 script.bin files:
script.bin      : VGA Output (1024*768)
script_hdmi.bin : HDMI Output (720p60)

It is just a starting point for who want his cubietruck working for most parts. I'm happy if someone helps me in improving this release.

Special thanks to patwood for important helps!

Hello kava93,
First.. thx for image, i like it.
Wlan work fine, but Gbit lan wan't work, maybe problem with configuration..?
My task manager show me everytime 100% cpu load. Why?
User and group process start in endlessloop and no reaction..

Very strange!
I've tried to restore this image on my sd and all works fine.

Do you see interface eth0 ? (typing ifconfig)
If not, type lsmod and search for sunxi_gmac (but I've configured this module to auto-load)

About the cpu, in a previous test with different kernel this was happened also to me, but with this I see a normal cpu behaviour.

About the user it is not clear your issue...

Gbit lan and users process run now ;)
The problem was i have logged in as root..

About Cpu, is still there (100% usage), but I think it is not important
Great job kava93 and patwood 8)

It is important because with the cpu full usated it will be run very slow. With my cubietruck the cpu stay constant above 40%.
It doesn't help, sorry

Is SATA port working ?
Is USB ports working ?

geemac

Yes, both sata and usb are working. Have it booting to an 120GB SSD and using a Motorola Lapdock for video and keyboard/touchpad.  ;D

hdmi not work.

Have you tried to change script.bin file?

No.
Like #cp /media/815B-BF7D/script_hdmi.bin /boot/script.bin?

Wire network not work (device not ready in network manager). Wifi works good.
